Strictly celebrities admit they are ‘terrified’ for Instant Dance as fans predict challenge will be an ‘absolute car crash’ and ‘utter carnage’

The Strictly Come Dancing stars and viewers alike have shared their reactions to the upcoming Instant Dance challenge set for next week’s show, with all in agreement that they predict it will be ‘chaos’.

During Sunday night’s results show, hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly teased the new challenge, which will see the couples having to pick a dance style at random, from the ones they’ve learnt in the series so far.

They will be played the accompanying music and then will have to frantically dash to wardrobe to change into their costumes, with each couple getting just 10 seconds on the countdown clock to decide exactly how they’re going to dance it.

The judges will then rank all six performance, with the maximum six marks awarded to the couple they deem to performed the best, down to just one point for the one that couple that impresses them the least.

These scores will then be added to their overall scores of the night, with the potential to change everything.

La Voix’s sudden withdrawal from the competition this week, means that all six remaining couples will be going through to next week and taking on the Instant Dance.
