SIR KEIR Starmer is destroying the countryside despite his farm tax U-turn, Jeremy Clarkson has warned.
Raising inheritance levy thresholds on estates from £1million to £2.5million was not enough, he said.

The Clarkson’s Farm star insisted: “A battle has been won.
“But the fight goes on.”

“It’ll affect the country’s ability to feed itself.
“And there are still thousands of farmers out there who are having to deal with the stress of knowing that they cannot pass their farm on to the only people who know how to run it.”
While the original raid was meant to raise £500million for Treasury coffers, it will yield only £300million now.
The Sun columnist spearheaded more than a year of protests against Sir Keir’s family farm tax.
Official data shows more than 6,200 farms shut after Chancellor Rachel Reeves unveiled the plan in 2024.
