‘Staged’ moan Love Island fans as former winner signs up for All Stars and ex she just split from could be joining too

LOVE Island fans are claiming new All Stars could be staged after former winner Millie Court was confirmed as a contestant.

The villa beauty, 29, split from Liam Reardon, 26, in September and fans now think the timing looks suspect for a choreographed reunion on screens in the new year.

One person wrote on Reddit: “Honestly don’t know if I can be bothered to watch this, so fake and staged! I miss the early seasons of LI so much.”

Another said: “So will Liam be an OG or bombshell? The breakup was obviously staged.”

A third posted: “When is he coming in so they can ‘reconcile’ and win?”

However, another fan suggested things might not be so straight forward, even if Liam does take part.

They said: “Everyone thought this about Molly Smith and Callum though and not only did they not get back together on the show, she met her fiancé lol.”

Molly famously came face to face with ex Callum Jones in January 2024 months after separating. But the reunion didn’t go as everyone expected, and she found love with Tom Clare.

Millie will head to South Africa for the spin-off series in January for her second shot at love.

A source told MailOnline how the decision was a “no-brainer” for the former ASOS buyer, who is now channelling her energy into her influencer lifestyle and YouTube channel.

They told the publication: “Millie is one of the first stars to sign up for Love Island: All Stars this year, and she’s a brilliant contestant.

“She’s a former winner and has only recently split from ex Liam, who could even make a surprise appearance in the villa alongside her.

“After spending a few weeks feeling heartbroken over their break-up, Millie has never felt better, she’s confident and in a great headspace.

“When producers came calling, she knew she had unfinished business with the show, so returning was a no-brainer.”

They added of Millie, who won the show in 2021 with Welsh lad Liam: “Millie was very popular during her first Love Island stint. Now that she is single again, producers have been talking to her.

“Nothing is set in stone yet, as the line-up is never confirmed until closer to transmission, but it’s heading in the right direction.”

Earlier this month, we told how the beauty was in “very early talks” for the show.

Yet it remains to be seen if she will be reunited with Liam in the villa, particularly as neither have spoken publicly about calling time on their romance.

Since their second split, Millie has been showing Liam what he’s been missing posing for a variety of sexy selfies showing off her new hairdo and stunning lingerie sets.

The couple appeared to be back on track after their first break-up in July 2022.

Back then, Millie told how her “biggest fear” would be Liam penning an All Stars deal.

They got things working again and shared a podcast as well as making their relationship work between London and Wales, where Liam is based.

Back in September, a source close to the couple exclusively told The Sun that they had called time on their relationship – and fans were quick to flag all the signs of their split.

A source said: “Millie and Liam have tried so hard to make their relationship work.

“But unfortunately, the distance was just difficult and they have sadly ended their relationship for a second time.

“Obviously, they’ve worked things out before, so friends are hoping this might just be a blip as it’s all still very fresh.

“But right now they are spending time apart. Everyone who loves them hopes they can work it out.”

Millie then uploaded what appeared to be a cryptic comment on the state of play in the aftermath.

She wrote on her jewellery brand Saith’s page: “A reminder that every situation in life is temporary.
