WATCHING your kids grow older can be an emotional time as a parent, and Stacey Solomon has confessed she’ll undoubtedly cry as a big birthday approaches for her son.
The television favourite shared she’s preparing her eldest son, Zachary, to turn 18 this month.
Stacey, 36, who appeared on Scott Mills on BBC Radio 2, Stacey admitted it makes her feel sad to think about her eldest reaching the milestone.
She said: “Zach is going to be 18 this month. I’ve got an 18-year-old, I know, it actually makes me really sad. I think I’m going to cry all day on his birthday.”
She continued: ‘I’ve got a fully-grown adult human son. When I did the X Factor he was one… he was one! 17 years ago.”
It’s no surprise Stacey is emotional over the big birthday, since her son has been there with her through her entire careeer.
