Six people injured by Caucasian Shepherd dogs in terrifying attack – as cops arrest girl, 17, and man

TWO people have been arrested after a string of brutal dog attacks that saw six victims suffer injuries.

On Thursday, August 21, reports began flooding in that two dogs were attacking people in Bardon Hill, Leicestershire.

Police raced to respond to the first incident and after speaking to a victim a second call was made stating three further people had been bitten by a dog.

Backup was swiftly called in and firearms officers and a police dog now joined the hunt for the out of control hounds.

Two loose dogs were then found and safely removed to secure kennels.

Cops confirmed both of the out of control dogs were Caucasian Shepherds.

As the investigation into the horror attacks went on a further two people came forward to report they were also bitten by a dog in the same location.

A total of six people injured are believed to have suffered injuries in the attacks, requiring medical treatment.

Two people – a girl aged 17 and a man aged 47 – were arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dangerously out of control dog in a public place.

The 47-year-old man was also arrested for a further two offences under the Animal Welfare Act.

Both have been released under investigation while the probe into the attacks continues.
