OLYMPIC great Sir Mo Farah has quit the UK to move to Qatar – despite the ongoing Iranian conflict in the Middle East.
Farah, 43, has confirmed he is due to be a resident in Qatar, even though the country’s energy facilities are currently coming under attack from Iranian suicide drones.

The four-time Olympic champ, confirmed the surprise move in paperwork he filed for the firm he uses for his running pay, which has assets of £3.9million.
Assets include £1.9million in investment property and £255,000 cash.
The firm paid £375,000 tax and VAT in 2023.
Documentation shows Farah has pressed ahead with his decision to switch residential status, despite more than 100,000 Brits attempting to flee the Middle East and move back home.
Qatar, which hosted the 2022 World Cup, is popular with the wealthy because it is tax free.
Mo, and wife Tania, have both changed their residency status in another firm, One Mo Mile Limited.
Tensions mounted across the Middle East last night amid reports US troops were to invade Iran — whose leaders vowed to “rain fire” on them in bloody response.
The sabre-rattling came as the USS Tripoli carrying 3,500 service personnel arrived in the region just days after the US submitted a 15-point peace plan.
Iran yesterday accused America of covertly planning a ground invasion at the same time as publicly sending messages about negotiation.
Parliamentary speaker, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said Iran’s forces were “waiting for the arrival of American troops on the ground to rain fire on them . . . and punish their regional allies permanently.”
He added: “Our firing continues. Our missiles are in place. Our determination and faith have increased.”
Ghalibaf said the US peace plan was “their wishes”.
