SIMON Cowell has revealed plans for a wild new TV show that will ‘disgust viewers’.
In an exclusive chat with The Sun, Simon revealed all about his new Netflix show, The Next Act, as well as a very different TV project.
He said: “I have a thing about smells, and hygiene. I want to make a new show actually called The Most Disgusting Show In The World to show people what we actually eat, breathe, and how disgusting we really are.
“Like, all the bed bugs in our beds, that freaks me out. Everything does.
“I’m allergic to them so I have to get my mattress and carpets steamed all the time to get rid of the dust mites or whatever.”
But right now, his focus is on The Next Act, which see him scouring the UK in the hope of discovering the planet’s biggest boyband.

Having already achieved that once with One Direction on The X Factor, can lightning strike twice for Simon?
The 66-year-old said: “All I know is, is that if people like them as much as I like them – and I really, really do have a bond with these boys – then I will be so happy.
“And they’re real, they’re not privileged, you know, they have no leg up apart from this.
“And I was thinking, where would they be without this opportunity? One of them is still working in a fast food restaurant.
“They’re just lovely, funny boys.”
However, a trailer for the show previously saw Simon admit to some nerves over the project.
Simon invites 16 budding singers to his home in Miami for a bootcamp style crash course.
But he said: “When you’re putting a band together it’s like mining for diamonds.
“As much as I love my job on TV, I miss where I started, which is signing artists and working with bands.
“There is a massive opportunity. I am going to find a new boy band.”
He candidly added: “But there is a huge risk. If this goes wrong it will be ‘Simon Cowell has lost it’.
“The chances of this working are less than 10%.”
Simon Cowell: The Next Act is available on Netflix now.
