SIMON Cowell made a huge dig at Amanda Holden’s age on the latest live show on Britain’s Got Talent in a massive row.
The long-time ITV star couldn’t help but take a massive swipe at his fellow veteran judge.
Both Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden are the longest serving judges on Britain’s Got Talent.
Both of the duo have been involved in the talent variety competition from the very first series back in 2007.
But despite their long-running friendship, they came to blows in dramatic fashion during tonight’s live semi-final.
Dance duo Harry & Lewis were the very first act to take to the stage to kick off proceedings.

However, despite praising their intricate technique, Amanda was not impressed as she said the pair had not improved since their first audition.
“I’m going to say thank god for the production and everything else because I was quite disappointed with that.
“I can see that you’ve worked hard and that the choreography is intricate and you’ve worked hard on it, but I don’t think it was enough.”
However, after she delivered her scathing critique, Simon praised the act but he couldn’t help
“I think personally, this was better than your first audition, I think you make what is actually hard look easy,” he remarked.
Before taking a pause, Simon continued: “I think you are skewered towards a younger audience.”
Amanda turned to Simon in shock who tried to explain: “No, I do. I mean that, I mean it.”
However, the audience couldn’t help but jeer as Amanda continued to be left completely open-mouthed by his seemingly savage comment.
Viewers were left in hysterics by the row which played out on live TV as they took to social media.
Writing on X – formerly known as Twitter – one fan commented: “Simon implying Amanda’s over the hill because she didn’t enjoy them,” along with a crying with laughter emoji.
Britain’s Got Talent Judges

The ITV talent show wouldn’t be the same without the four charismatic judges who put the contestants through their paces.
Simon Cowell is the staple of Britain’s Got Talent and resumes his role as head judge. The mogul is one of the most iconic figures in music and is responsible for offsetting the careers of many performers around the world.
Amanda Holden has been a judge on Britain’s Got Talent since it first started in 2007. The sexy star is a firm fixture on the judging panel, which has helped her to become a household name.
Alesha Dixon is back to judge the new series of Britain’s Got Talent. The TV star joined the panel back in 2012 and quickly became a fan favourite.
Bruno Tonioli makes up the fab four. After leaving Strictly, he decided to move over to ITV and is the newest BGT judge after replacing David Walliams.
Another posted: “Bit behind on #BGT. That comment that Simon made about the dance act to Amanda was bloody hilarious.“
While a third added: “Is everyone else enjoying Britain’s Got Talent? I’m a bit disappointed tonight, the acts I think are underwhelming. That comment that Simon made about Amanda’s age was hilarious though.“
Britain’s Got Talent continues on ITV1 and is available to stream back on ITVX.
