WELFARE Secretary Pat McFadden warned today that young people refusing work opportunities will forfeit their right to Universal Credit.
The cabinet minister announced Labour’s new £820million “Youth Guarantee” scheme to help 350,000 young people into work.

Almost one million people aged 16-24 are not in work, employment, education or training.
Mr McFadden said those who refuse the offer will have their benefits slashed, telling Sky News: “Doing nothing should not be an option.”
After Labour was slated for last month’s “Benefit Street Budget” which hiked the welfare bill, is this crackdown on youth unemployment benefits fair?
