Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing & Bargains UK, one fashion fan shared a snap of their stylish steal.
Captioning the snap, the lucky shopper wrote: “Bargain of the day 50p on the tag but went through at 25p. Matalan.”
The black, faux leather boots are versatile enough that you could wear them with skirts and dresses as well as jeans.
The calf skimming pair have a flat heel making them perfect for everyday wear.
But those hoping to bag a pair will have to be quick as fellow bargain hunters were eager to get hold of them.
Commenting on the post, one wrote: “Whatttt??? ! Wow well done. That was to be the bargain of all time!!”
“You can’t say no at that price even if you don’t want them lol,” added another, while a third wrote, “Wow fancy going back and post.”
The bargain comes following news that Matalan has launched huge discounts across stores.
The sale claims to offer up to 50 per cent off thousands of items across its women’s, men’s, kids’, and home range.
You can grab a Pink Floral Print Smock Mini Dress for £9.50 down from £18 or a Boys Blue T-Shirt for £3 down from £6.
In terms of home furnishings, you can grab an entire Blue Fruit Damask Duvet Set for £6 when it was originally £12 which will compliment your Grey Scallop Mirror, now £7.50.
The store is selling a range of products for half price including babygrows, photo frames, blankets and accessories.
Matalan also has a great range of dupes available, short for duplicate products, which are often a great way of getting a like-for-like item but for much less money.
The retailer is no stranger to offering up items similar to other retailers but at discounted prices.
Shoppers have discovered Zara Home and H&M homeware dupes in the past that were cheaper than the real thing.
One customer recently took to Tik Tok to share how she had found a woven placemat from Matalan for £5 whereas a similar item at Zara Home was £9.
