THIS is the moment a suspected Iranian suicide drone plunges from the sky and triggers a huge explosion at Dubai’s busiest airport.
Shocking footage shows the aircraft buzzing across clear blue skies above the city before suddenly dropping out of view.
Seconds later a massive blast erupts near the terminals, sending a thick plume of smoke billowing into the air on Saturday morning.
The strike sparked chaos at Dubai International Airport, with passengers scrambling for safety as authorities evacuated parts of the airport and halted flights “until further notice”.

The exact impact point remains unclear but the explosion appears to have occurred near Concourse A, close to the airport’s vast Terminal 3 complex.
A fire was later reported at the terminal as smoke rose over the airport perimeter.
But confusion quickly erupted over what exactly happened.
The Government of Dubai Media Office later described the incident as “minor”, saying falling debris caused no injuries and rejecting claims circulating on social media that the airport had been directly hit.
Airport authorities initially said operations had been suspended, triggering panic among travellers across the region.
Later, officials indicated flights were beginning to partially resume.
Airline giant Emirates also said it was restarting services and urged passengers with confirmed bookings to proceed to the airport.
The drone strike came as Iran unleashed fresh attacks across the Gulf.
Missiles and drones targeted Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as the war between Iran and the US-Israel alliance entered its second week.

Saudi Arabia also said it shot down four drones aimed at the massive Shaybah oil field.
The escalation also comes just hours after Iran’s president Masoud Pezeshkian issued a surprise apology for attacks on neighbouring countries.
In a televised address on Iranian state TV, he said: “I deem it necessary to apologise to neighbouring countries that were attacked.”
Pezeshkian suggested some strikes may have been triggered by confusion inside Iran’s military command following the deaths of several senior leaders.
He added: “We do not intend to invade neighbouring countries,” and said Iran wanted regional cooperation to “establish peace and calm”.
The Iranian president also revealed a new order to the armed forces: “From now on, do not attack neighbouring countries unless attacked first.”
But he fiercely rejected demands from US President Donald Trump for Tehran to capitulate.
Writing on Truth Social, Trump declared: “There will be no deal with Iran except UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”
He also vowed America would keep pounding Iran’s military, while promising the US would “work tirelessly to bring Iran back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before”.
Pezeshkian fired back that the demand “is a dream that they should to take to their grave.”
Despite Tehran’s apology, the conflict shows no sign of slowing.
US forces have blasted more than 3,000 targets across Iran in just seven days as part of Operation Epic Fury, according to US Central Command.
The huge air blitz has destroyed missile systems, military sites and naval vessels – leaving 43 Iranian ships damaged or sunk.
Israel also launched a massive overnight strike, with more than 80 fighter jets pounding targets in Tehran and central Iran.
Huge explosions were reported at Mehrabad International Airport – the capital’s busiest airport – with towering flames and thick black smoke rising above the city skyline.
