FERNE McCann has divided opinion after revealing the makeup birthday haul she bought for her daughter Sunday’s 8th birthday.
The former TOWIE star, 35, who revealed it was her “first ever experience of Home Bargains,” admitted that even she felt like it was “absolutely crazy” and that her daughter Sunday was “too young” to be makeup-obsessed.
However, the mum-of-two went on to say that it’s just what her daughter and her mates are into – adding that she’s forever stealing her beauty blender.
In the video posted to TikTok, the reality star revealed everything she’d snapped up for Sunday, who was turning eight-years-old.
Firstly, she began by explaining how it was a “really tricky age” because she’s at that sort of inbetween age where she’s growing out of things.
The proud mum also noted how she didn’t want to spend a fortune on makeup as it’s all imaginative play, before going on to share her first purchase.

Holding up a Lilo and Stitch pampering set to the camera, which includes fluffy slippers, foot lotion and nail varnishes, she says: “But how cute is this set? We’re actually going to Disneyland Paris for her birthday, which I’m so excited about.
“That’s like her main present, but I just wanted to get her a few wrap up bits.
“So, look, going with the Disney theme – and she’s obsessed with Lilo Stitch…I just thought that was such a good little set.”
Sticking with the Lilo and Stitch theme, she then told how she purchased some lip glosses.
“Like I said, she has friends around and they get all the makeup bits out now – it’s just crazy,” she continues.
“Absolutely crazy. I feel like it’s too young.”
Ferne also purchased her daughter a candy swirl body spray, personalised makeup bag and a giant marshmallow kisses scented lip balm, priced at just £1.99, which she says “smells unreal.”
Ferne continues: “I mean, look, makeup. How cute is this? I bought bundles that I know she’s just going to absolutely die when she sees it.”
Revealing that she bought her a beauty blender, she says: “So she really is into applying makeup at the moment.
She’s always taking my beauty blenders. So, so random. I’m like, what are you even blending? You’re seven — well, eight in a week.”
Ferne also snapped up a lip duo kit containing a lipstick and a lip liner, manicure set with several different coloured nail varnishes, mascara which Sunday is “obsessed” with, face glow drops, liquid blush and a face mist.
“Again, I appreciate she’s in year 3,” Ferne explains. “She’s not going to be doing a full glam.”
Finally Ferne, who says she’s going to split the haul between Sunday’s birthday and Christmas because they’re close together, says she also bought her a makeup brush set, hairband, more lipglosses and eyeshadow.
The post quickly garnered over 530k views and several comments – with the majority in agreement that eight years old is far too young to be wearing makeup.
