SEVERAL people at Joint Base Andrews have been hospitalized after a suspicious package said to be containing white powder was delivered to the site, according to reports.
Officials at the US military base in Maryland have launched a probe.
An individual inside one of the buildings on the base opened the package, sparking an evacuation, according to CNN.
The package is thought to have contained a mystery white powder, two sources told the outlet.
Political propaganda was also reportedly concealed within the package.
