Semenyo-less Cherries fight from two-down to salvage draw after England hopeful Wilson’s brace

CALLUM WILSON’s brace was not enough to give West Ham three points as they threw away a two goal lead at Bournemouth.

The clubs went into the match with differing records with the Cherries losing their last two while West Ham won their previous two.

Wilson volleyed the visitors ahead in the 11th minute as he took advantage of the rainy conditions.

The striker – making his return to the Vitality – hit his effort from 25 yards but Bournemouth stopper Djordje Petrovic appeared to slip on the wet surface.

Wilson then bagged his second of the game and fourth of the season with a tremendous improvised finish to double West Ham’s lead.

Marcus Tavernier gave the Cherries a lifeline after converting from the spot in the 69th minute.
