SEAN DYCHE is in no rush to get back into management, even though admitting he’s had “top level” offers.
That’s since Nottingham Forest sacked him last month in the midst of a relegation dogfight.
Dyche spent just 114 days in charge at the City Ground. In his 25 games, he won ten, drawn six and lost nine.
He was replaced by Vitor Pereira, who is the FOURTH different manager Forest have had in 2025/26 – following Nuno Espirito Santo, Ange Postecoglou, and of course Dyche.
The former Burnley and Everton boss was talking to Henry Winter via The Football Boardroom podcast.
He said: “I will question my next move, definitely. I went back into Forest because I had a gut feeling about doing the right thing for a club that is, you know – I care about.
Asked whether it was “unfinished business” by Winter who then referred to the “emotional pull,” Dyche responded by saying: “I’m not like that. Football has never defined me as a person.
“It might do from the outside looking in, but it doesn’t define me inside. I know what I am.
“I could branch off this minute now, do what you’re doing and be quite happy. I’ve done my bit, so if I do more – great. If I don’t do more, I won’t be crying over it.
“I’ve given my lot, I always do so I’ve got no problem with that.

“If I choose to step away, it will be my choice. It won’t be because no one will employ me… I’ve had offers already, so that’s not a problem.
Winter then asked: “Good level.”
Dyche replied: “Top level. But the point is, you go ‘do I need that? Do I want to make a decision?’ Not at the moment.”
Forest are winless in their last five Premier League games, but will be buoyed by their 2-2 draw at the Etihad against title-chasing Manchester City on Wednesday night.
Dyche eluded to Forest’s form and his sacking, saying: “Statistically and factually, no emotion to it, if you look at the stats and facts – even after the last game, against Wolves… our current form at that time was ninth in the Premier League.
“The stats and facts were there, clear as day. From my record, from when we got there to when we ended, we’d have been 12th in the Premier League.
“So on factual data and analysis, I can’t understand any of the decisions that were made. But football is changing, and we witnessed it.”
Goal difference separates Forest and Nuno Espirito Santo’s West Ham, who are currently in 18th.
Tottenham are just one point above Forest, and are the team in the worst form having lost their last five.
Leeds are then two points above Spurs.
The relegation battle is no doubt going right down to the wire, but it’s something Dyche will not be involved in as he’s ruled himself out of work for the time being.
