Several listed below already have early Black Friday offers, with more rolling out through November.

Expect strong savings on dual-drawer favourites, XL family models and compact countertop upgrades, plus bundles and flash drops that change fast.

Ideally, this should be a lasting investment, just at a lower price.

But don’t hang about too long; otherwise, you risk missing out.

What air fryers were on sale last year?

In 2024, we saw wide-ranging price drops across top brands.

Standouts included the Ninja Foodi Air Fryer falling from £79 to £69 at AO, the Tefal Easy Fry Mega 7.5L dropping from £139.99 to £64 at Amazon, and the Philips 3000 Series Dual Basket 9L reduced to £99.99 at John Lewis.

Salter’s 8L Dual was £109 at Very, and Lakeland ran the Ninja Foodi Dual 7.6L at £129.99.

If that pattern repeats, dual-drawer and XL-capacity models are the ones to watch.

Expert tips on getting home and garden Black Friday bargains

According to Holly Gonsalves, The Sun’s Home and Garden eCommerce writer, the sooner you put together your Black Friday wish-list, the better, so you can be prepared when prices do drop.

Black Friday is getting earlier each year, and several sales have started appearing online already, including Emma Mattress, Simba and Currys.

As I research and hunt down the best home and garden deals all year round, when Black Friday rolls around, I’m well-versed in what’s really a cheap price, and what to steer clear of.

Some retailers are better than others at slashing prices – but some of the biggest sales I recommend checking out are at Ninja, Shark, Lakeland and Dyson.

Amazon is always a good comparison point for prices over Black Friday, although you don’t always get the guarantees offered by high street retailers.

I know my dehumidifiers from my air purifiers, and I’ve personally reviewed plenty of household devices, so my Black Friday shopping advice comes from a place of recommendation rather than suggestion.

It’s no secret that appliances and household devices get some of the biggest price drops in November, and I’ll be covering all of the best home and garden deals.

When is Cyber Monday 2025, and are air fryer retailers taking part?

This year, Cyber Monday falls on December 1. To find out more about the follow-up sale to Black Friday, read our ‘When is Cyber Monday?’ explainer.

It marks the official end of the Black Friday sale, which traditionally closes at midnight that day.

As you might guess from the name, Cyber Monday was originally an online-only event with substantial price cuts on a wide range of goods.

Now, however, the entire event offers both offline and online discounts, so there’s no real distinction, and great deals can be found across the whole weekend.

In the past few years, we’ve seen price cuts from several air fryer stockists after the official close of Cyber Monday, and this year is likely to be the same, which is great news for shoppers.

Are air fryers worth it?

An air fryer can be a really useful addition to your kitchen.

This type of cooking uses less oil, which can make it healthier.

An air fryer also cooks food quickly than a conventional oven does and uses less energy.

Many models offer multiple functions, such as baking, roasting, and steaming, as well as air frying, giving you lots of options for making the most of this versatile and increasingly popular kitchen tool.

In our best air fryers round-up, we’ve picked out several tried-and-tested recommendations.

Best overall air fryer: Russell Hobbs SatisFry Multi cooker, £165 from Argos

  • What our reviewer says: “The Russell Hobbs Satisfry has seven settings which cover pretty much all types of food prep
  • Pros: Seven cooking features, easy to use, easy to clean, clear instructions
  • Cons: Quite big if you have a small kitchen, no recipe book

Best double basket air fryer: Instant Vortex Plus dual drawer 8-in-1 air fryer with ClearCook, £75 from Argos

  • What our reviewer says: “The Vortex Plus is a great deluxe choice for fussy families as it allows you to cook two dishes simultaneously.”
  • Pros: Extra-large capacity, two fryer baskets, easy to clean, synced cooking times
  • Cons: Large size

Best air fryer for small kitchens: Ninja CRISPi 4-in-1 Portable Glass Air Fryer, £129.99 from Ninja

  • What our reviewer says: ‘’The Ninja CRISPi is easy to use and easy to clean, but the biggest selling point is the compact storage.’’
  • Pros: Easy to use and quick to set up, easy to clean, makes food very crispy
  • Cons: The capacity isn’t huge, temperatures are pre-set and can’t be changed

How much do air fryers cost?

  • Budget single-basket models: roughly £30 to £60
  • Mid-range family models (including some dual drawers): £80 to £150
  • Premium multi-zone and smart models: £150 to £300

Air fryers vary in price, depending on the size, model, and brand.

You can get a smaller budget model for around £30-£40.

Right up at the top end of the spectrum, a new model can set you back between £250 and £300.

When setting your budget, consider how often you’ll be cooking big meals and whether you want more variety.

Is it cheaper to cook in an air fryer than an oven?

In terms of energy costs, cooking in an air fryer can be half as expensive as in an average oven.

Air fryers are also cheaper than ovens, so you’ll get your money back faster if you use them often.

Plus, you only need a tiny bit of oil for most of your air fryer cooking, which should save you money in the long run.
