Sainsbury’s Summer Bank Holiday opening times: What time are stores open on August 25?

SAINSBURY’S shoppers should make sure they plan their trips around the bank holiday this month.

Retailers often change up their opening hours on bank holidays – and shops over a certain size have to shut by law.

So what do you need to know ahead of this late Bank Holiday?

The vast majority of Sainsbury’s supermarkets will be open from 8am until 8pm on Monday, August 25.

Meanwhile, its convenience stores will be open as usual from 7am to 11pm.

Opening times for your local store may vary from this so it’s worth checking ahead just to be sure.

How many UK bank holidays are there in 2025?

There are only a few bank holidays left this year to look forward to now.

However, bank holidays differ in Scotland and Northern Ireland to England and Wales.
