Rylan Clark has revealed his mother Linda has been rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a statement on Instagram on Friday as he thanked the emergency team for looking after her.
The TV presenter, 36, shared his mother ‘isn’t well’ as he confirmed he won’t be hosting his BBC Radio 2 show on Saturday.
He wrote: ‘Mummy Linda isn’t well sadly so I won’t be hosting the show tomorrow.
‘Thank you to the emergency team at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Especially Tanya who really looked after my mum.
‘Will keep you updated as she’s on the mend. She’s a trooper x’
Linda won the hearts of the nation after her appearance with her son in Celebrity Gogglebox where she had viewers in fits of laughter with her dry humour.
Rylan previously shared in 2023 his mother suffered a horror fall in Marbella and had to have emergency surgery before they both flew home on a private plane.

The mother-son duo have been favourites on Channel 4’s Gogglebox since 2019, yet they had to miss the latest series due to Linda’s health.
Rylan previously revealed Linda wasn’t in the best health after her fall due to other conditions, which made her injury more ‘complicated’.
Linda had to endure a six-week hospital stay due to her ongoing battle with Crohn’s disease.
‘She’s not in the best health with her other conditions and this has made it more complicated,’ Rylan previously said.
In October, Rylan revealed that Linda had become well enough to visit his house for the first time in two months amid her health struggles.
