A Ryanair plane has reportedly crashed into a fuel truck at a British airport.
Passengers had to be offloaded from the Faro-bound aircraft after the incident at Edinburgh Airport today at 10am.
No one is believed to have been injured, with one passenger telling The Scottish Sun that ‘thankfully we weren’t going at a fast speed’.
‘It was scary – the pilot came on the intercom and tried to pretend it wasn’t as serious as it looked,’ they said.
‘They can’t use the plane anymore.’
Edinburgh Airport told the Daily Mail there was no impact on any other flights, and the incident was stood down ‘within 30 seconds’.
Passengers are now boarding for their rescheduled flight, which is understood to be departing by 12.30pm.
The Mail has contacted Ryanair for comment.
