RUTH Langsford has been left furious with ex-husband Eamonn Holmes after he ‘snubbed’ their son Jack over Christmas following their split.
According to reports, Eamonn, 66, failed to reach out to Jack, 23, over the festive period – leaving Ruth, 65, ‘running out of patience’ with the broadcaster.
An insider told Bella: “Ruth is furious that Eamonn made no attempt to reach out to his son Jack to offer an olive branch and try to build bridges over Christmas and New Year.
“She says the least Eamonn could have done was to reach out and wish him good tidings and keep the door open. She won’t forgive him.”
It comes after previous reports that Jack has taken his mother’s side in the divorce, with a source telling the Daily Mail: “Things remain strained between him and his father.”
But it’s not just Jack as Bella alleges Eamonn also failed to get in touch with son Niall, 32, and 34-year-old daughter Rebecca, who he shares with first wife Gabrielle, over Christmas.
Former This Morning presenter Eamonn confirmed his plans to spend Christmas away from his children during an interview with The Sun, revealing he’d be with his new girlfriend Katie Alexander, 43.
He said: “I’m going to be with Katie this Christmas.
‘I’ve never not been in the UK for Christmas, but maybe one year I’ll go away abroad.”
The Sun has contacted reps for Eamonn and Ruth for comment.
It comes after Eamonn appeared to take a swipe at his ex-wife.
He recently spoke out about people who have stood by him throughout his chronic back condition, which has resulted in him often walking with crutches or using a wheelchair.
Speaking to Mind Jump magazine, he said: “Family comes first. Health is the real wealth. Hard work and integrity will outlast everything else.
“Don’t waste time on grudges or negativity – life’s too short. Compassion matters, whether it’s for people or animals.
“Losing mobility after decades of being active has been extremely difficult. It changes your routine, your confidence, and sometimes your sense of identity.
“But it also makes you grateful for the people who stand by you.”
