A Russian paedophile who raped a two-year-old girl to death and broke her arms and legs to ‘stop her crying’ has been jailed for life.
Twisted paedophile Sergei Vaschenko, 36, will never be released from jail.
A close ally of Vladimir Putin said the child’s kidnap, rape and murder ‘makes your blood run cold’.
The girl, Mira, was with her grandmother who was cleaning her house and missed the moment the child was abducted from her yard in Chapayevsk, Samara region.
When she was found, the toddler was still alive but suffered appalling internal wounds.
Vaschenko confessed to investigators that he broke both her arms and legs ‘to stop her crying’ as he raped her in an abandoned house, Samara Regional Court was told.
The girl’s brain was ‘visible’ through a ‘large hole in her skull’.
A male relative ‘carried the bloody, lifeless body and sobbed uncontrollably,’ said the girl’s aunt.

The Russian Investigative Committee charged Vaschenko – a freed convicted murderer – with child rape that led to murder.
This was ‘a wild, inhuman crime that makes your blood run cold’, said Russian politician Alexander Khinstein, who piloted through legalisation to jail paedophiles for life.
‘A two-year-old girl died after being raped.’
Vaschenko ‘turned out to be a previously repeatedly convicted neighbour of the child’s family,’ said Khinstein, a close Putin ally who is now governor of Kursk region.
‘It was for such inhuman people that we adopted a law….on life imprisonment for paedophiles.’
Under Russian laws, he will never be released from prison.
