Jason Manford is the 2025 host of the Royal Variety Performance.
Jason is a stand-up comedian, a presenter and an actor who has been on TV and the West End.
He has hosted the Royal Variety Performance once before, in 2020 for the lockdown edition of the show.
In the announcement of Manford hosting, the organisers wrote: “Jason was our host for the famous ‘lockdown’ Royal Variety Performance in Blackpool in 2020,
“and so we are thrilled that he can join us again this year, but this time, in front of a live audience!”
If not from the Royal Variety Performance, you might recognise Jason from one of the TV shows he has been in.
He hosted the BBC quiz show Unbeatable from 2021-2023, was a team captain on 8 out of 10 cats until 2010, appeared on the first series of the Masked Singer and has been on Live at the Apollo multiple times.
He has showcased his voice on the West End in shows like Sweeney Todd, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the Wizard of Oz.
