Richard Madeley made a bizarre confession about his sex life with wife of almost 40 years Judy Finnigan during a surprise appearance on Prime TV’s Last One Laughing.
The GMB host, 69, joined the nation’s top comedians on the show as they are set the challenge of making each other laugh, without laughing themselves.
Richard was brought in during the third episode to try and get a few giggling and while interviewing Romesh Ranganathan, 47, asked the funnyman and father-of-three on tips to conceive a family.
Saying: ‘The reason I ask is that when Judy and I were trying to conceive a few years ago, I used to douse my balls in icy water beforehand, right? Apparently it ups the sperm count. Yeah, it’s agonising’.
While Romesh managed to keep from laughing, wife Judy, 77, as well as the couple’s children Jack, 39, and Chloe, 38, will have no doubt have been left red faced.

The broadcaster joined the GMB team in 2017, but became a regular host of the show in 2021.
Richard usually appears on the morning breakfast show on Thursday, but also appears on other days when needed.
Those who watched the third episode found his stint on the programme absolutely hilarious.
One wrote on Reddit: ‘Just started episode 3 and I can’t lie, I absolutely lost it when Richard Madeley appeared, 10/10 unexpected.’
