ARSENAL maintained their perfect Champions League record with a huge 3-1 win over in-form Bayern Munich.
Jurrien Timber broke the deadlock for the Gunners from a Bukayo Saka corner in the 22nd minute before 17-year-old Lennart Karl got one back for the visitors.
However, Arsenal stepped it up a gear in the second half and threw everything at their opponents.
After piling on the pressure, it was Noni Madueke who found a breakthrough to score his first goal for the north London club.
And Gabriel Martinelli secured the much-needed three points after sprinting past Manuel Neuer – who was closer to the halfway line than his own box – and slotting the ball into an empty net.
On another brilliant day for the Gunners, SunSport’s Charlie Wyett rates the performance.
David Raya – 6
Had no chance for the goal, the first he has conceded in the Champions League. Apart from that, he had little to do.
Jurrien Timber – 8
Grabbed his third goal of an outstanding season with a lovely glancing header from a set-piece. There is not a better right-back in Europe right now. Just brilliant.
William Saliba – 7
Should have got an early header on target although did a decent job in keeping an eye on Harry Kane.
Cristhian Mosquera – 6
Caught out on a couple of occasions and Arsenal looked better with Piero Hincapie at the back against Spurs. Was unable to reach the cushioned volley from Michael Olise to Karl for the Bayern goal and then forced a good save at the other end.

Myles Lewis-Skelly – 5
He is still only 19 and this was another good test for him but the left-back has a lot to learn. He could certainly have done better for the goal and struggled throughout.
Martin Zubimendi – 6
Steady performance without dictating play as much as he has done so in recent games.
Declan Rice – 9
Another commanding, powerhouse performance from the Arsenal midfielder. He drove forward with the ball for the winner and the watching England manager Thomas Tuchel would have loved another terrific display.
Eberechi Eze – 6
Was unable to repeat his heroics after scoring a hat-trick against Spurs but he had set the bar high.
Bukayo Saka – 6
Perfect corner for the opening goal but not at his best otherwise and looks as though he needs a rest.
Leandro Trossard – 7
Trudged off with an injury before half-time and looked properly peed off. That is understandable as he has been outstanding recently and Arsenal fans will hope it is nothing serious.
Mikel Merino – 6
Continues to give absolutely everything in his makeshift role as a central striker. Will be annoyed with himself for not putting away at least one of his two second half headers.
