Robert F Kennedy Jr wrote a cringe-inducing raunchy poem to journalist Olivia Nuzzi during their scandalous ‘digital affair’ last year, her scorner ex-partner revealed.
Ryan Lizza says Kennedy Jr, 71, sent Nuzzi, 32, poetic texts filled with explicit sexual demands – even though the pair’s affair was only carried out online.
One message reportedly read: ‘Yr open mouth awaiting my harvest.’
Another text allegedly said: ‘I am a river. You are my canyon, I mean to flow through you. I mean to subdue and tame you. My Love.’
Lizza added that other messages graphically detailed sexual acts, but were ‘too explicit to print.’
The messages were revealed by Lizza in an explosive piece shared to his Substack on Saturday.
He says he uncovered a slew of racy messages after learning about Nuzzi’s ‘digital affair’ with Kennedy.
It follows a prior Substack post last week in which Lizza alleged that Nuzzi had cheated on him years earlier with former South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, 65.
Donald Trump’s HHS Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr wrote a cringe-inducing raunchy poem to journalist Olivia Nuzzi during their scandalous ‘digital affair’ last year, her scorner ex-partner revealed
Olivia Nuzzi’s ex-fiancé Ryan Lizza (seen together in 2023) shared a second bombshell Substack post on their doomed relationship on Saturday, including excerpts of explicit poems Kennedy allegedly sent her
Vanity Fair said it was reviewing her status as the outlet’s West Coast Editor after news of the Sanford rumor broke.
‘We were taken by surprise, and we are looking at all the facts,’ a spokesperson said in response to the piece.
The Daily Mail has contacted Kennedy’s Health and Human Services agency and Vanity Fair publisher Conde Nast for comment.
Lizza writes that Nuzzi insisted that she ‘never touched’ Kennedy, and insisted their affair was carried out entirely over the phone and through messages.
The posts from Lizza came as Nuzzi was attempting to ease back into public life to promote her upcoming tell-all book, American Canto, a year after her emotional dalliance with Trump’s health secretary.
Lizza claimed that he discovered Nuzzi’s alleged affair with Sanford when a love note she wrote him fell out of her bag.
‘If I swallowed every drop of water from the tower above your house, I would still thirst for you,’ she allegedly wrote for Sanford.

Lizza claims he discovered a love note Nuzzi had written for former South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford in March 2020, after he launched a longshot bid for the presidency
Sanford captured national headlines in 2009 after admitting to an extramarital affair, and finished his term in 2011 despite the scandal before he later returned to Congress until 2019.
He then launched a longshot bid for the presidency in 2020, and although he never gained traction and dropped out of the race within two months, Nuzzi profiled him for a New York Magazine feature story.
On her way back from a trip to interview Sanford, Lizza recalled discovering the note she had written to Sanford after it had scattered from her backpack.
After looking through further pages, Lizza said: ‘My heart stopped when I realized who he was.’
Lizza, a former Washington correspondent for Politico, describes feeling devastated over ‘Olivia’s betrayal’ and worried that it would ruin a book the pair were writing together about the 2020 presidential campaign.
He wrote that Nuzzi told him she became ‘infatuated’ with Sanford after covering him for New York Magazine, eventually sending him ‘increasingly risqué pictures and texts’ and even ‘secretly followed him on the campaign trail.’
He then alleges that Nuzzi and Sanford ‘consummated’ their relationship at the ex-governor’s home ‘one night after she went dark on me and made up a story about how she was dealing with a crisis concerning her sick mother.’
Lizza said he was heartbroken when he discovered Nuzzi wrote a love letter to the former South Carolina governor, which he feared would upend both of their careers as political journalists
Lizza concluded his bombshell post by revealing he called his agent: ‘We have a big problem. Olivia is sleeping with Mark Sanford.’
The longtime Washington journalist said he had wanted to keep the allegations private, but decided to reveal the alleged affair in response to Nuzzi’s own memoir, which he had no advance knowledge of and assumed would never happen.
‘Last year, she asked to negotiate a non-disclosure agreement,’ Lizza writes.
He said that Nuzzi had messaged her through a mutual friend last year to say that she ‘will never talk about any of this again, and I hope you will do the same.’
