Reese Witherspoon AGAIN talks Taylor Swift’s engagement… after both stars dated Jake Gyllenhaal

Reese Witherspoon has again discussed Taylor Swift‘s engagement to Travis Kelce.

When on the red carpet of her The Morning Show premiere the blonde told Access Hollywood she is thrilled for the singer.

‘Yes, I’m so excited for her. Everybody loves a love story,’ said the Hollywood icon.

‘It’s really special. I think it’s also the same feeling that people have when you’ve watched somebody grow up and change and stand up for themselves and grow into this beautiful relationship, so I’m very happy for them,’ she added.

Both Witherspoon and Swift have dated the same actor: Jake Gyllenhaal. Witherspoon dated Gyllenhaal from approximately 2007 to 2009 while Swift was linked to the Everest star in 2010.

This is not the first time the Oscar-winning actress has talked the Bad Blood singer. In August she took to Instagram to gab about the crooner’s engagement to the football hunk.

‘Guys, we’re trying to concentrate and do work here and Taylor Swift got engaged and it’s very exciting,’ Witherspoon, 49, said in a selfie style video shared via her Instagram Stories on August 26.

Another woman was heard in the background as Witherspoon said that she wanted to see the diamond ring that Kelce, 35, proposed with. 

A pal showed Witherspoon the ring, causing the actress’ jaw to drop. ‘That’s a pretty ring,’ she said.

Witherspoon ended the clip by mouthing ‘Oh my God.’

The Wild actress wrote in her caption, ‘Did anyone else’s work day go completely out the window because @taylorswift is engaged?’

Swift, 35, and Kelce announced they are engaged after two years of dating in an Instagram post shared on August 26. 

Alongside several photos of the couple embracing and showing off her ring, they captioned the joint post, ‘Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.’

Meanwhile, Swift and Kelce won’t have a massive Hollywood style wedding, it has been claimed.

According to a Tuesday People cover story, it will be much more intimate. A source has said that the pop siren and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end ‘want to keep it more private’ when they say ‘I do.’

‘It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle,’ the source said ‘They both have a close circle of friends, and they’ll respect their privacy.’

As far as being engaged, the insider added that the songwriter has never been better: ‘She’s incredibly happy,’ the source adds. ‘It’s all just perfect.’ It was added that they feel like they are ‘living a dream.’

This comes days after an insider told Daily Mail exclusively that the couple is set on Swift’s sprawling $28 million oceanfront estate in Watch Hill, Rhode Island — the same property that once played host to her legendary Fourth of July parties.

‘His family doesn’t care where it’s at. It could be in Timbuktu and they’d go there for it. But yeah — right now is that it’s going to be in Rhode Island at her mansion,’ the source shared.

This comes after news that Kelce’s nieces are thrilled about his engagement to Swift. 

Travis’s brother Jason, 37, and his wife Kylie, 33, have four daughters – Wyatt, five, Ellie, four, Bennett, two, and Finn, who was born in March – and the girls are so excited to be getting another aunt.

Kylie told Good Morning America: ‘The girls are thrilled. They’re so excited they’re getting another aunt. We could not be more excited for them and what the future holds. We love love, and we love Taylor and Trav.’

Kylie’s comments came after it was revealed that Travis’ family are ‘very happy’ about the NFL star’s engagement to Taylor, 35.

The 35-year-old sports star and the Cardigan hitmaker announced their engagement last month after two years of dating and an insider claimed that Travis’ parents Donna and Ed, as well as Jason and Kylie, ‘adore’ the music superstar.

A source told PEOPLE: ‘She goes out of her way to show the whole family how much she cares for not just Travis, but all of them, down to Jason’s kids.’
