A REBRANDED high street chain is due to shut another branch after it was rescued in a £76million deal.
TG Jones, formerly known as WHSmith, will soon be closing its doors in the Nicholson Shopping Centre, Maidenhead.

In an update, shared by the branch on Facebook, the retailer said it was in its “final weeks” of trading, but did not confirm the exact date the store was due to close.
A major 30% off clearance sale has been launched as the store looks to shift stock before it shutters for good.
The Post Office located within the branch is also due to shutter.
It comes as the shopping centre housing the store is preparing to close in June ahead of redevelopment, according to the Maidenhead Advertiser.
Earlier this year, the TG Jones store in Clapham, south London, also closed down following a 75% sale.
It comes the former WHSmith high street arm was sold and rebranded as TG Jones in a major shake-up aimed at saving the business.
The iconic chain has struggled on the high street as shoppers increasingly moved online.
Last March, 480 of the newsagent chains stores were sold in a £76million deal with firm Modella Capital.
WHSmith has over 580 travel stores across airports, hospitals, railway stations and motorway service areas which continued to live on after the sale.
The Sun has approached TG Jones for comment.
