THE Princess of Wales is thought to have worn four rings on her left hand for yesterday’s landmark Future Workforce summit.
A gold ring, thought to be an Etincelle de Cartier wedding band, is believed to have been a present from her husband Prince William last year to celebrate 13 years of marriage.
She also wore Princess Diana’s engagement ring with a 12-carat Ceylon sapphire surrounded by a cluster of 14 solitaire diamonds.
Her third ring was also thought to have been a gift from William after Prince George was born in 2013.
And the fourth was her own wedding ring, crafted from Welsh yellow gold.
It comes as the BBC apologised for yet another blunder after stripping the Princess of Wales of her title in its Armistice Day broadcast.

Viewers had complained about the “appalling and disrespectful” coverage.
Presenter Rajini Vaidyanathan repeatedly called her Kate Middleton, her maiden name before marrying into the Royal Family in 2011.
Yesterday the BBC said: “During our coverage of memorials to commemorate Armistice Day, we mistakenly referred to Catherine, Princess of Wales, as Kate Middleton.
“These were errors during hours of live broadcasting for which we apologise. Throughout our Armistice Day coverage more broadly, we referred to Catherine by her correct title.”
It is the latest embarrassing gaffe by the BBC, coming after the row over the misleading editing in a Panorama documentary of a speech by Donald Trump — who says he will sue for at least $1billion.
Director-general Tim Davie and BBC News CEO Deborah Turness both resigned, saying they took “ultimate responsibility” for the editorial failures under their leadership.
