THE PRINCESS of Dubai has announced her engagement to Khloe Kardashian’s ex boyfriend and rapper, French Montana.
Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is widely known as the Princess of Dubai and caused a stir online when she ditched her husband via Instagram.

In the now-deleted post, she wrote on Instagram: “Dear Husband. As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, I Divorce You.”
But things are seeming looking up for the Princess, who announced her engagement to the Moroccan-American rapper, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch.
The pair were first linked in October 2024, when she hosted French in Dubai and shared photos of their outings on social media.
A rep for French, 40, confirmed to TMZ that the couple became engaged in June 2025, with French proposing shortly after his runway debut at Paris Fashion Week.
The couple then shared a joint Instagram post showcasing the huge engagement ring
The bling was reportedly crafted by fine jeweller Mavani, after the designer shared a video showing the ring in more detail.
They captioned the social media clip: “Congratulations to @frenchmontana & the Princess of Dubai @_xtianna_ on their engagement! I want to thank French for trusting us with this enormous 7-figure 11.53ct GIA emerald cut ring that he commissioned us to make for this special moment!”
Although the jeweller didn’t reveal the price of the ring he went on to share several Instagram Stories which claimed the ring is $1.1million, which could be his way of hinting the price is correct.
After they tie the knot, French will become a stepfather to Princess Sheikha Mahra’s one-year-old daughter, who she shares with her ex-husband.
Besides his music career, the rapper is perhaps best known for this romance with Khloe Kardashian in 2014, after she split from her athlete husband Lamar Odom.
Who is the Princess of Dubai?
Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was born in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on February 26, 1994.
She grew up with both Emirati and Greek heritage.
The Princess of Dubai graduated from a London university in 2023 with a degree in international relations.
Later that same year, she married Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, with whom she shares a daughter.
Their marriage ended in divorce in July 2024, which Mahra announced publicly through the previously mentioned and now-deleted Instagram post.
In this post, she invoked the traditional Islamic “triple talaq” practice — an act typically reserved for men — by declaring the divorce three times.
Following her divorce, the princess launched her own perfume brand, Mahra M1, with the debut fragrance aptly named Divorce.
