THE ex-partner of Princess Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mozzi, architect Dara Huang, is at the centre of a furious TV bust up after she was accused of being a “madame”.
A source said the allegation was “deeply upsetting” for Dara, whose friends have denied the claim.
The Sun understands that the accusation was levelled at Dara, who is mother to Edoardo’s eldest son, during filming on Ladies Of London – causing her to sensationally quit mid series.
Dara, 43, does not appear in any of the official adverts for the new series and was not formally announced on the line up after she walked out.
However The Sun understands she is still featured in at least three of the episodes, with the allegations about her being rumoured to be a “madame” repeated throughout the series.
Video clips shared on social media show British fashion designer Martha Sitwell also asking Dara, who is off camera: “I’ve heard a rumour that you are a madame.”
Insiders said the accusation incensed Dara – who walked off set and refused to return.
A source said: “The allegations made against Dara on Ladies Of London are shocking to say the least – and it will be deeply embarrassing for Edoardo and Beatrice too.
“She took part in it because it seemed like fun but the series seems like it is dominated by a baseless rumour she is a madame.
“Dara filmed around three episodes for the show but after Martha asked her about being a madame to her face she quit.
“Her friends on the show, including Myka Meier, tried to stick up for her and denied there was any truth to the claims but it’s all very unsavoury.”
The Sun has contacted Dara for comment.
Dara remains close to Edoardo and Princess Beatrice, who also have two daughters together.
She said of co-parenting with them: “Wolfie has had two sets of parents trying to help him on both sides, and I just think, ‘The more, the merrier.’
“I feel lucky to have such positive people around him, who really embrace him – because it didn’t have to be so easy.”
Princess Beatrice has previously described Wolfie as her “bonus son”.
Ladies Of London: The New Reign features Lady Emma Thynn, Mark-Francis Vandelli, Lottie Kane, Misse Beqiri, Kimi Murdoch, Myka Meier, Margo Stilley and Myka.
Despite Dara, who dated Edoardo and had his son while they were together between 2015 and 2018, appearing in the episodes she was cut from all the promotional campaigns.
She also does not appear in the official line up handed out by TV bosses at Bravo.
The new series is due to air on Thursday, March 5, in the US and the UK the following day.
