Prince Harry’s conspiracy that ‘men in grey suits’ are ‘leaking info’ leaves Buckingham Palace ‘perplexed and saddened’

BUCKINGHAM Palace has been left “bemused, perplexed and saddened” by Prince Harry’s conspiracy outburst about “men in grey suits”.

Harry, 41, appeared to accuse Palace aides of leaking information about the meeting with his father Charles this month.

The words echoed his late mother Princess Diana who described palace aides as ‘men in grey suits’.

It followed reports in The Sun which revealed the Duke handed the King a framed family photograph and joked it was like an “official visit”.

Buckingham Palace is not being drawn into any transatlantic war of words after the riposte from Montecito, it is understood.

A royal source said: “The reality is that senior aides have been working behind the scenes to improve what is a delicate but important private family relationship.”

It comes just two and half weeks after Harry was squeezed into the King’s diary for a brief audience at Clarence House.

Days later he was interviewed by the Guardian and raised eyebrows after saying he doesn’t “believe that he had been ‘airing his dirty laundry in public'” and that his “conscience is clear”.

He also caused confusion when saying of the coming year that: “the focus really has to be on my dad”.

Apparent briefings after the meeting with his dad that Harry was set for a ‘half-in, half-out’ return and to take on public engagements with the King have been denied by palace sources.
