NUMEROUS shoppers have shared a huge complaint about the viral fleece leggings from Primark.
While the winter must-have has recently become a wardrobe staple for countless fashion fans, many have been disappointed by the high street buy.
And some have gone as far to slam the quality of the affordable leggings as “appalling.”
Posting on social media, one Primark shopper shared a short clip of her fleece leggings which were covered in bobbles.
The anonymous fashionista claimed that she had worn the Velvet Plush Flare Leggings just once and hadn’t washed them, but they had already gone bobbly.
According to the online description, the black leggings are “as warm as they are stylish.”

The flared leggings boast a mid-rise fit and “come in a plush velvet texture.”
They have an elasticated waist so are sure to be super comfy and are perfect when paired with trainers for running errands.
The simple but stylish 90s style flared leggings emerged in stores back in September last year, and many praised them as great for keeping warm during autumn and winter without putting the heating on.
But this woman was clearly very annoyed by her purchase, as she wrote: “£10 Primark fleece leggings LITERALLY WORN once!!”
Showing off the bobbles, which were predominantly on the leg and crotch areas, she fumed: “WISH I was joking.”
Moments later, she claimed: “This isn’t from washing them, these were brand new. This is from wearing [them] for a day!!!!”
Big divide
The woman’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @diaryofalos3r, instantly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 43,400 views.
But social media users were totally divided – while many slammed the quality of the Primark buy as “bad,” others recognised that they also own these leggings and haven’t had any issues.
Mate what do you expect it’s Primark?

One person said: “Quality is appalling now…Prices are ridiculous as well.”
Another added: “It’s Primark, cheap and bad quality.”
A third commented: “That’s what you get for shopping in Primark. Spend a bit more for good quality that lasts.”
Meanwhile, someone else chimed in and asked: “Mate what do you expect it’s Primark?”
Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?
JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it’s down to four points.
- They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
- And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.

To this, the content creator responded and penned: “Primark used to be cheap and better quality.”
However, at the same time, one fashionista penned: “I’m wearing them now and this never has happened to me.”
A second explained: “Not happened to me. Wear them daily and have a fair few pairs. Wash them inside out and they stay good as new.”
Whilst another Primark shopper acknowledged: “I have the exact same ones and they’re fine.”
