It is claimed Nasri made 212 orders to a Paris address despite being a tax resident of Dubai

Nasri, who also played for Man City, West Ham and Marseille, could face a tax bill of £4.8million, the report says.

The former France international is alleged to have three properties in Paris.

It claims he spent between 126 and 208 days per year in France from 2021 and 2023. In the same time frame, it is alleged he spent between 42 and 124 days in the Middle East.

And it is reported that Nasri came under scrutiny after it was discovered he had placed 212 orders to an address in Paris through the Deliveroo app in 2022.

The French outlet says authorities have made a legal claim against his apartment in the French capital and asked for one of his bank accounts to be seized.

Nasri has since filed an appeal against the seizure, the publication reports, and has voiced “concern about the uncertainty created by the court’s decision”.

Les Echos says other signals about his presence in France include holding stakes in French companies, plus his contract with a French TV network and recording as many as 45 episodes.

It goes on to say that Nasri may receive foreign income which may not be taxable in France.

SunSport has reached out to Samir Nasri’s representatives for comment.

Since retirement, Nasri has worked as a commentator and pundit for French broadcaster Canal+.

Nasri has previously faced accusations of doping and was banned for 18 months by UEFA over the Drip Doctor scandal.

He has insisted the injection of vitamins was legal and that the saga left him “lost, anxious, angry” and ruined his appetite to play football.

Nasri started his carer with Ligue 1 side Marseille before signing for Arsenal in a deal worth around £12m in 2008.

He was a hit at the Emirates as he scored 27 goals in 125 appearances before Man City came knocking at the door.

Eventually he moved to the Etihad in a controversial £25m deal that angered Arsenal supporters.

Nasri was understood to be earning around £180,000 a week at City as he played 176 times, scoring another 27 goals and winning two Premier League titles.

He later played for Sevilla and Turkish oufit Antalyaspor before returning to England with West Ham.

Nasri only played six times for the Hammers before finishing his career with Belgian side Anderlecht.
