Paloma Faith has revealed the horrendous things she saw while working in a fetish club before shooting to fame.
The pregnant singer, 44, opened up on her experiences during her latest Mad, Sad And Bad podcast episode as she spoke to her mother Pam.
Paloma revealed how she worked in the racy club in a bid to earn extra cash on the side as she started out in the music industry.
She started by explaining to listeners: ‘I did at some point through working in burlesque, end up working at a fetish nightclub called the Torture Garden, which drove you mad.
‘There are images in your head in life that if you can avoid putting them in there, you should.’
Paloma said how she witnessed two people who ‘pooed on each other’, to which Pat interjected: ‘Oh God, I wouldn’t have liked to have seen that.’

The Only Love Can Hurt Like This singer continued: ‘And I’ve watched people being f****d which is awful, awful.
‘There was some charm to it as well, like there was this one guy that I found quite harmless. When I used to arrive, he used to like to kiss my shoes.
‘And I just let him, cos I thought, “oh, do you know what, this is a safe space, and he probably would be judged anywhere else”, and he’d be like, “please, miss, please let me kiss your shoes” and I’d be like, “oh, go on then, and hurry up cos I’ve got a show in 10 minutes”, and he’d just kiss all my shoes, and then I’d be like, “that’s that done with then.”‘
Paloma concluded: ‘Funnily enough, in those clubs, a lot of the people who were in them were people who were less liberated in the outside world, pretending to be something they weren’t, and it was a place they could go from their job behind a desk in HR, to wearing a PVC jockstrap at night, but maybe they needed it because they didn’t have that liberation.’
Earlier this month Paloma, who is expecting her third child, revealed she was hospitalised with the flu as she shared a picture of herself wearing a nebuliser to stabilise her breathing.
Sharing a selfie in a black sweatshirt and cap, Paloma wrote: ‘Thanks Homerton Hospital for nebulising me for flu.’
Paloma also shared that she is finding it ‘worrying’ being pregnant in her forties, while posting a series of new snaps of her blossoming baby bump.
In the caption, she wrote: ‘Pregnancy at 44. Ngl that’s a bit worrying but I’m trying to pretend to myself I’m calm so that eventually that comes true.
‘I couldn’t be more happy about another baby and I’m bracing myself for the storm…’

It comes as after Paloma proved she is staying on top of her fitness regimen during her pregnancy as she shared a workout video with fans.
She looked happy and healthy as she squatted and lifted weights while sporting a black Nike crop top and high-waisted leggings.
Feeling the strain of the session, the star, who is expecting the baby with her boyfriend of one year Stevie Thomas, pulled a silly face at the camera while showing she is staying fit and strong ahead of the tot’s arrival.
In an accompanying caption, she wrote: ’23 weeks pregnant 3rd baby. Still trying to move’, while also tagging personal trainers Rob Solly and Vicky Ziff.
She thanked the duo for ‘saving her’, as she was added to Rob’s roster of celebrity clients including Olly Murs and Emma Willis.
In October, Paloma made the exciting announcement on Instagram that she was 18 weeks pregnant with her first child with Stevie.
She captioned her post: ‘Plot twist, mother is mothering (again) #morethangeriatricpregnancy #oappregnancy #oapmilf #18weekspregnant.’
The star welcomed a daughter with ex Leyman Lahcine, from whom she split in 2023 after nine years, in December 2016 and a second baby girl in February 2021.
