Two teams arriving into a crunch contest on the back of draws during the week – albeit very different ones.
Man Utd have had an extra couple of days rest having played on Tuesday night, when an injury-hit Reds were held by Wolves at Old Trafford.
The 1-1 draw was rightly met with boos at full time given Wolves are on track to become the worst top flight side in history with just three points to their name.
Ruben Amorim could get one or two defensive reinforcements back for this one but will still be without the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Bryan Mbeumo, with Benjamin Sesko continuing to struggle up top.
For Leeds, they’ll come into the game full of confidence after an excellent six weeks or so which has seen them open a gap to the relegation zone.
Back-to-back one-goal defeats to Aston Villa and Man City had Daniel Farke top the betting for next Premier League manager to go but they’ve since gone six unbeaten with a WDDWDD record.
That has included a win against Chelsea and two draws with Liverpool, with the latter coming in a goalless draw at Anfield on Thursday where Dominic Calvert-Lewin almost pinched it late on when finding the net in an offside position.
They’ve scored ten goals in their last three home games against Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Liverpool, too, with 15 of their 21 league points picked up at Elland Road.
