Perfect Portugal
Portugal played incredibly well, especially after that first half.
Spain were the better team in the first half but Roberto Martinez’s half time team talk was clearly inspiring as they came out a different side that second half.
The subs worked an absolute treat as well as Leao was causing all sorts of problems to that Spain defence.
Mendes was absolutely incredible as he got on the scoresheet, got an assist, shut out Yamal and played out of this world – he carries on his rich vein of his form.
Upset for Lamine Yamal
It was the legend who won the battle against the rookie.
It didn’t quite go his way today for Yamal but we all know this is a minor hiccup in his career as he will definitely be back causing havoc in Europe come next season.
