AS one of the most famous Arsenal fans in the UK, Piers Morgan may want to lay low after the last couple of Gunners results.
Mikel Arteta‘s men crashed out of the FA Cup on Saturday after an abysmal 2-1 loss to Championship side Southampton in the quarter-finals.

It was only last month fans were still talking about the chance of a quadruple. But in their last two games they’ve lost the Carabao Cup final to Manchester City with an especially abject performance, and now their FA Cup exit.
Morgan was invited on to talkSPORT for Monday morning’s show to discuss Arsenal’s worrying form in the heat of the business end of the season, but the Talk TV host had an amusing response.
“I’d rather shoot myself.”
Arsenal are still nine points clear at the top of the Premier League with just seven games remaining.
However, Man City have a game in hand on them and have to welcome them to the Etihad on April 19.
City also have the momentum of the League Cup victory on their side and Arsenal fans have gone from supreme confidence to maximum concern in the space of a few weeks.
The red-half of north London takes on Sporting Lisbon in the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Tuesday and they must halt the slide.
Many fans had commented that Arsenal were the beneficiaries of some kind draws this season, but their loss to Southampton proves nothing is a foregone conclusion.

Morgan tweeted earlier this season that City boss Pep Guardiola was ‘so rattled’ after the Spaniard declined to offer advice to his former assistant and now rival, Arteta, in a press conference .
One might suggest that it is now Morgan who is rattled with the climax of the season approaching fast and Arsenal worryingly out of form.
