Peter Andre and wife Emily put on a united front on Wednesday as they stepped out to celebrate his new acting role.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, and his doctor wife, 35, looked happier than ever as they posed for photos at the glitzy Channel 5 event which Emily proudly shared to Instagram on Thursday.
Pete will star as a Greek pathologist in his upcoming show, The Sunshine Murders. The star, who was brought up in Australia, will take a lead role having been specially chosen by Anglo – Antipodean film makers, mother and daughter team, Merryn and Emily Corcoran.
Filming took place in his parents’ homeland of Cyprus – in Paphos and Larnaca, near Kiti (where he still has a villa).
And as he navigates his latest career turn, Emily was his number one fan, looking stunning in a maroon two-piece suit.
Emily has publicly supported her husband amid his growing tensions with his ex wife Katie Price.

Tensions between Peter and Katie exploded last month, when Peter accused her of ‘peddling baseless lies’ after she claimed their children Junior and Princess lived equally between both parents.
Daily Mail recently revealed how Peter’s team had painted him as a ‘saint who had put up with Katie for far too long’ following their split in 2009.
However, disturbing footage from their noughties series was then posted online – with social commentators accusing him of being ‘manipulative’ and ‘narcissistic’.
Scenes from the pair’s ITV show also reveal Peter mocking his ex-wife as well as blaming her for domestic mishaps.
In a clip that could be deemed the most shocking from the couple’s marriage , a furious Peter launches a vile tirade of insults at Katie.
The clip, which appears to have been filmed during their trip to the US, Peter declares: ‘You’re a f*****g idiot, I hope you learn a lesson and come down a peg or two because you’re too far up your own a*se.
‘You’re too up your own a*se, you’re a f*****g arrogant b***h, I’m not having her talk to me like that in front of anyone. F*****g idiot, stupid arrogant little f*****g cow.’
In an interview with The Telegraph , Peter addressed questions around his ‘saintly’ image, while refusing to answer questions about ex Katie.
He said: ‘Well, look, nobody’s perfect. No one’s perfect in this world. Everyone makes mistakes. But you get the measure of me by meeting me.’

The singer continued: ‘You’ll either think I’m too talkative and annoying, or you’ll think, ‘he’s alright, he’s harmless’.
‘But over a period of time you build a picture of someone, it’s about consistency.’
Peter can also be seen appearing to make ableist comments towards his disabled former stepson Harvey in resurfaced footage.
The clip shows Peter likening him to the wheelchair-bound character Andy played by Matt Lucas who had the catchphrase, ‘I want that one’ on the then-popular but now increasingly controversial comedy show Little Britain.
Princess has hit back at claims she is embroiled in a family feud with her mother amid ongoing tension betwen her famous parents.
Just days before the launch of the TikTok star’s new ITV2 show, The Princess Diaries, said she was ‘upset’ after alleging she was banned from filming scenes for the series, which follows a string of recent events, including her daughter’s 18th birthday party, where Katie says she was also not welcome.
But speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, Princess explained any fallout from Katie’s outburst at not being involved in her TV debut will be dealt with behind closed doors, as she insisted: ‘It’s my show, it’s not based on my parents, it’s focused on me. To be honest there’s no rift between me and either of my parents.’
Princess also weighed in on why she doesn’t get involved in Peter and Katie’s public feud following their bitter split 16 years ago.

The influencer admitted it is ‘not worth’ weighing in on their rows. Tensions hit fever pitch recently when Peter released a statement branding his ex-wife a liar after years of ‘staying silent’ for the sake of their children.
In response to Katie’s claims that they have ‘always shared the kids’, Peter insisted that they moved in with him in 2018 ‘for their safety’ as he accused her of falsehoods.
However, despite their back and forth, Princess has revealed she won’t be having her own say to either parent because she doesn’t believe it will do any good.
When asked whether she would contact her mum to discuss it, Princess told the Guardian: ‘No, she says, it’s not worth it. Mum can be annoyed about something and then we send each other a message and we’re fine.’
During the same interview, Princess also sweetly claimed she didn’t want to paint her mother in a bad light because she is ‘more stable’ than she has been in years.
Guest stars of the show will include Stephanie Beacham, Camilla Rutherford and Nick Moran is due to start on Channel 5 in September.

Alongside his post, he penned: ‘I prayed for this moment. They made it. 70 years of marriage for the most incredible parents. Mum and dad, we love you more than words can describe. Please may Jehovah bless you both.
‘Thank you for being such an inspiration. Two of a kind. I am smiling thinking of you. See you both very very soon.’
