Almost one year on, Pete and Jowita reignited these rumours with a cosy snap.
Taking to Instagram, ex-TOWIE star Pete shared a photo of the duo in a dance studio – with Jowita on his back.
While on Strictly, Pete and Jowita appeared to passionately kiss during their foxtrot – which got fans talking.
One fan wrote on X at the time: “Jowita and pete make me feral i need them to get to the final so i can keep watching them almost kiss.”
“How long before Pete tries to kiss Jowita properly?” questioned another.
“how many times can one pair nearly “fake “ kiss in one dance,” noted a third.
It was later revealed Pete was dating Love Island and I’m A Celeb star Maura Higgins.
Although the two ultimately called time on their romance by February 2025.
A source told the Mail at the time: “Maura and Pete have decided to call off their romance.
“There have been a few clashes, and it was eventually agreed they were better off as friends.
“Those closest to them know it’s been a very on and off relationship, which is why they were so resistant to go public in the first place.
“They remain close and share a deep connection.”
Meanwhile, Pete and Jowita previously reignited romance rumours just one month after his split from Maura.
It came after the Strictly pair posted a cute video on YouTube of them at a goat farm.
On it, they could be seen looking cosy and flirting up a storm as they petted the cute animals.
Commenting on the video, one fan wrote: “Pete and Jowita have so much chemistry.”
While another added: “Something about Pete and Jowita together just warms my heart!”
This one said: “These two are just so cute together!”
