A WOMAN was left horrified after staying with her brother and finding out he had nightmare neighbours.
Evelyn Amsdell, from the US, took to social media to share the horrific moment.
The young woman had been asleep at her brother’s flat when she was woken up to a drilling noise.
The next thing she knew, she was watching as a giant electric drill came through the floor of the bedroom.
Stunned by what she saw, she quickly filmed the neighbours up to no good.
Not only was the drill just an inch away from her air purifyer, almost damaging it, but it could have also harmed Evelyn or her brother as well.
“If you think your downstairs neighbours are bad… Imagine waking up to them drilling into your bedroom,” she said.
“This cannot be legal??? My brother’s apartment but he doesn’t have TikTok.”
According to Evelyn, the downstairs neighbour was building an exhaust vent, hence drilling into her brother’s floor.
Since then, her brother has been notified about the construction work and has been informed they will carry on.
Evelyn also said her brother wouldn’t be liable to pay for the damages caused by the downstairs neighbour.
The video quickly went viral on her TikTok account @evelynamsdell with over 9 million views and 800k likes.
People were left stunned by the downstairs neighbour and couldn’t believe how unaware they were.
One person wrote: “What are they drilling for, oil?”
Another commented: “Okay but on a real note, imagine you were stood/sat/laid there???? That’s genuinely a risk to your health and safety.”
“Why do they keep drilling?” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “What could they possibly need to drill this far for…”
“Immediately pour water down that hole,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “What the hell are they doing, looking for gold up in your house like that’s crazy.”
