An 86-year-old man and a retired couple were all killed in a head on crash in east Wales.
The couple, previously named as David and Pamela Richardson, had just moved to the countryside from Merseyside months before the tragic collision on December 11.
John Pryce Jones, 86, was named as the third fatality in the crash.
He had been driving his Audi A4 down the A489 near the border village of Snead, between Church Stoke in Powys and Lydham in Shropshire.
Mr Pryce Jones tragically collided with a Toyota Yaris coming the other way on the narrow country road.
He was killed in the collision as well as married couple Mr and Mrs Richardson who were in the Yaris.
However, one person involved in crash did survive – he is believed to be Mr and Mrs Richardson’s son and was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are investigating the crash but it is believed that one of the cars was overtaking a tractor when they smashed into the oncoming car.
Officers noted that there was a tractor on the same stretch of road as the deadly incident with a front attachment.
Johnathon Pryce Jones was a ‘larger than life character before he was killed in the crash on December 11

Mr Pryce Jones was a ‘larger than life’ character, his family said, being known locally as ‘Thiabendazole’ – an anti parasitic drug.
His family added: ‘We wish to express our gratitude to all who have been so supportive at this very difficult time.
‘Your caring words and actions have been invaluable to us.
‘John was from mid-Wales and lived in Craven Arms. He was a larger-than-life character who was well known to so many people and he will be dearly missed by all.’
The family of David and Pamela said: ‘David and Pamela were loving members of our family. They were both very special to us all.’
The couple retired to the countryside around the Welsh-English border near Churchstoke earlier this year from Merseyside.
Their family said: ‘David and Pamela had moved to the area earlier this year to enjoy their retirement.
‘We would like to thank everyone for their support at this horrific time. It has meant so much to the whole family.
