AN 86-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murders of a couple found dead with gunshot wounds at their farmhouse in 1993.
Harry Tooze, aged 64, and Megan Tooze, 67, were killed their remote farm near Llanharry, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales, on 26 July 1993.

Both were shot dead at point blank range with a shotgun in a grim execution style killing.
Someone then made an attempt to hide their bodies in the cowshed of the farm.
Bizarrely, the table was found set as if the couple were expecting a guest at the remote farmhouse.
Jonathan Jones, the boyfriend of the Toozes’ daughter, was initially convicted of their murders in 1995.
His fingerprint had been found on one of the teacups, leading detectives to believe he was responsible.
It was alleged that he had killed the victims for their £150,000 life insurance payment.
The conviction was quashed a year later however and the case remained one of Wales’ most notorious unsolved murders.
On the 30th anniversary of the murder Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Superintendent Mark Lewis, said:“This week marks the 30th anniversary of the murders of Harry and Megan Tooze which remains unsolved.
“We hope that by using the latest, modern forensic techniques we can deliver justice for Harry and Megan.
“The forensic review will focus on exhibits from the case to determine if there is potential for further forensic testing.
“As is usual in such reviews, no outcomes can ever be guaranteed. Harry and Megan’s family have been informed of our work and will be kept updated.”
