FORMER Manchester United striker Louis Saha was forced off the pitch after a wayward shot in a legends game.
He was playing in a game against Southampton legends at St Mary’s.
The striker, who scored 42 goals for United struck an effort well-wide before requiring medical attention and eventually leaving the field.
One fan reacted to the injury saying: “Louis Saha going off injured after 20 minutes in a charity match is just peak Louis Saha.”
He played for the Red Devils between 2004-2008, describing his exit from Old Trafford as “painful”.
This was due to his injury woes during his time in Manchester – which defined his time at the club.
The Frenchman was joined by various household names on the St Mary’s turf.
His former team-mate Wes Brown was on the teamsheet – he made 362 appearances for United.
Bulgarian icon and fan-favourite Dimitar Berbatov, who scored 56 times during his time at Old Trafford, was also playing.
Ecuadorian cult-hero Antonio Valencia featured in the match – he won two Premier League titles under Sir Alex Ferguson as well as an FA Cup and a Europa League after the Scotsman’s departure.

The Southampton legends team also featured some stars of English football.
Saints hero Matt Le Tissier – widely regarded as the club’s best ever player – was involved in the game.
He made over 500 appearances for the club – scoring 195 goals.
Former Premier League star Victor Wanyama also lined up for Southampton.
He made his name at the club from 2013-2016 – one of the most successful periods in Saints’ history.
He was part of the squad who qualified for the Europa League in 2015.
Portuguese player Pele also featured – he fostered 70 children since retiring from the game.
