The weather might finally be warming up but these orphaned lambs are wrapping up warm this Easter.
Adorable photos show the baby sheep kitted out in jumpers knitted by volunteers.
Every year Auchingarrich Wildlife Park adopts a number of lambs from farms. They are either orphans or part of large litters that the ewe found difficult to feed.
They are bottle-fed five times a day and given jumpers to keep warm because they cannot rely on their mother’s milk.
A volunteer said: ‘We have a knit and natter group each week where we offer bottomless tea or coffee to anyone making jumpers.’
One lucky lamb, two-day-old Jackie, got a very smart Union Jack pullover this year.
