THEY were the 12 virgins who signed up to pop their cherry on TV.
Now, a year on from their bonkers experience on Channel 4, The Sun can reveal the big, umm, climax.
Of the not-so-dirty dozen, ONLY accountant Dave, 24, was deemed ready by Virgin Island experts to go all the way on the show – getting it on with his surrogate partner, somatic practitioner Kat Slade.
It means for a long time, the cast’s post-show WhatsApp group was called Virgins and Dave, but is now updated every time a former contestant loses their V plates.
Taylor says anyone who gets lucky is greyed out of the chat profile pic.
Holly, who had her first romp back in the UK, adds: “I messaged the chat almost as soon as it happened. I was excited to tell them!”. Dave has since slept with TWO more women.

Here, Deputy TV Editor Felicity Cross finds outs how the others have fared.
- The final of Virgin Island airs on Channel 4 tonight.
Dave, 24
VIEWERS see – or, more accurately, hear – Dave lose his virginity to surrogate partner and somatic practitioner Kat Slade.
She guides him through his first sexual experience during an intimate session in the island’s zen den on tonight’s final episode.
Now, Dave has a girlfriend he has been dating since six months after filming – and she is clearly impressed with his professionally-taught bedroom skills.
He admits: “Some of them aren’t amazing. But my girlfriend is happy. Our first time together was amazing.”
Suave with his newly-grown beard and moustache, he adds with a laugh: “I’m oozing testosterone now.”
Dave reveals the show gave him a self-esteem boost that enabled him to start using dating app Hinge, where he met his new flame.
While she has seen several Virgin Island episodes, she won’t join Dave and his castmates to watch him lose his virginity at tonight’s viewing party.
He said: “I never would have been able to talk to her without this show.
“But I don’t think my girlfriend will watch, for obvious reasons. She watched the first four episodes, but it’s getting a bit much now. You don’t want to see your partner with someone else, even if it was a year ago.
“She’s openly said it’s like watching a completely different person.”
‘No regrets’
After five dates, Dave decided to broach his trip to Virgin Island with his new girlfriend, though he was not initially upfront with all the details.
He explained: “I said I went on a confidence-boosting TV show. I didn’t want to be too specific. She was a bit surprised.”
Thanks to his newfound confidence, Dave can deal with awkward conversations just as well as he handles himself in the bedroom.
That said, the accountant has joked he will “not be sober” to witness the moment he popped his cherry.
He admits he once “screamed and threw his phone” seeing himself talking about a vagina on TikTok, but insists he has no regrets about bonking on TV.
He says: It’s quite nice having a unique story of losing my virginity. I just think it’s funny.
“So many people have stories about their first time being atrocious. People put pressure on it to be perfect, and it rarely is.
“It’s better to do it with someone who can show me what I’m doing wrong and give me advice and let me know how to get better.
“The first time with my girlfriend was amazing.
“It was about being ready for when you have someone with more genuine feelings.”
Taylor, 29
THE receptionist came out as gay and fears she’s now TOO confident.
She said: “I feel like other people are repressed. If they can’t make eye contact or initiate contact, it isn’t going to work.”
She’s still a virgin “despite my best efforts.”
Ben, 30
RESEARCHER Ben, who revealed he keeps a spreadsheet on his dates, said: “I’ve updated it with three more women.
“We got a little intimate on one of our dates – I kissed her on the lips a bit. It went quite well.”
Pia, 23
THE show helped Pia to experience pleasure despite her vaginismus, and talk to family about the painful condition.
The marketing assistant reconnected with an old flame but they decided they are better off as friends.
Holly, 23
DOG-groomer Holly lost her virginity with a boyfriend she started dating five months after filming.
She said: “It didn’t go terribly . . . ”
Sadly, the relationship did not last but Holly feels the show led to “a new, improved version of me”.
Emma, 23
EMMA went on a date with Viraj, 25, after filming, but they are now not together.
She says: “I’m not in the right mindset for a relationship – there is a lot I need to work on.”
She has “explored intimacy” with others.
Zac, 28
DELIVERY driver Zac says the process has given him more confidence but admits: “The bulk of the practical and physical skills that were explored have eluded me.
“Being able to express my thoughts and feelings is a work in progress.”
Charlotte, 29
THE care worker says she is “much happier” as the retreat led to her ADHD diagnosis, for which she is now on medication.
She feels “more comfortable in my skin and in romantic situations” as a result of her experiences.
Tom, 23
“I’M still single, and I haven’t had a one-night stand in the last year, so I can’t say I’ve put too much of it into practice,” says drama graduate Tom.
“That said, the therapy has given me confidence, which I’ve used every day since.”
Jason, 25
WHILE Jason is still a virgin, he bravely asked Louise on a date and she said yes – if she returns from New Zealand where she has relocated.
He has also joined Hinge. His mum screamed when the clip of him climaxing aired.
Louise, 22
CARE advisor Louise is definitely open to dating Jason.
She said: “We have stayed in touch, and are very good friends.
“His question caught me by surprise. He’s got a great heart and could 100 per cent laugh your pants off.”
- Viraj was not available to chat.
