However, it is important to note that you are never guaranteed to be quids in as your old items are only worth what someone is willing to pay on the day you sell.
Playboy Bunny merch – up to £144
If you have any Playboy bunny merch sitting in your loft, it could be time to dig it out.
Pillows branded with the iconic logo sold for £20 at Argos back in the day, but they can sell for almost £90 on eBay.
Just a few months back a collector paid £87 for a set of pink lace pillows after fighting off bids from 26 others.
And if you had the pink Playboy bunny lava lamp to match, you could be on track to make a small fortune.

The rise of online porn killed off the demand for lads mags, but many old physical copies have found a second life as collectors’ items.
On eBay, one punter paid £77.08 for a bundle of the naughty zines after fighting off bids from 15 other randy buyers.
Old iPhones – £230
The first ever iPhone was released in 2007 and brought touch screen mobiles to the mainstream.
They retailed for around £250 when Apple launched the product in the UK.
And if you have one tucked away in a drawer at home you can earn some of that cash back.
One punter paid £230 for the first generation model after fighting off 17 other bidders.
Recently another tech collector paid £194 for the device after a lengthy bidding war.
Harry Potter books – £101
If you have a first edition novel of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, it may be worth a pretty penny.
The debut book from J.K Rowling is highly sought after by fans of the series.
Just a few weeks back one collector paid £101 for the 1999 novel after fighting off bids from 18 others.
And you could get even more for the novel.
Last February, a first edition Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone book was set to sell for £10,000.
And in 2023, another ultra-rare first edition copy of a Harry Potter book bought for just £10 sold for a whopping £55,0000.
