Nicki Minaj and Donald Trump’s best moments from Gold Card to ‘I love those nails’ as rapper gushes she’s his ‘No 1 fan’

NICKI Minaj has staked her claim as Donald Trump’s number one fan after the pair spent the night sharing countless compliments during a bizarre press conference.

The rap sensation wowed the president with her giant nails, fur coat and beaming smile so much that she was gifted a Gold Card, had a tour of the Oval Office and featured in a presidential TikTok.

Trump spotted the glamorous 43-year-old Anaconda singer in the crowd at the US Treasury Department’s Trump Accounts Summit in Washington on Wednesday night.

During one of his infamous “weaves” the president paused and started to speak to Minaj before offering her up on stage.

In typical Trump fashion, he quickly quipped about the nails Minaj was sporting for the event.

He announced with a chuckle: “I am going to let my nails grow, because I love those nails. I’m going to let those nails grow.”

The record-breaking female rapper let out a huge laugh before gleefully trotting up to warmly embrace Trump, who she has long been a public admirer of.

Minaj has bravely stood up against critics who claim she shouldn’t be a fan of the Trump administration due to her Trinidadian nationality, Trump explained.

Trump has embarked on a major crackdown on illegal immigration since returning to the White House a year ago through his ICE agents.

Minaj herself has publicly acknowledged she was brought to the US illegally as a child in the past – something anti-MAGA supporters claim should make her a vocal critic of Trump.

The Grammy-nominated rapper has instead grown close to Trump and gushed over his commitment to making America great again.

Speaking to the crowd, Minaj proudly declared: “I am probably the president’s number one fan, and that’s not going to change.

“And the hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more.”

Their on-stage bond, which saw them hold hands as they posed for dozens of photos, continued late into the night.

The duo then took part in a TikTok together, which was posted to Trump’s official account and quickly racked up over 550,000 likes.

In the video Minaj, who is stood next to Trump, says: “Hello guys, I’m with my favourite president.”

Trump then smirks as he says: “And I’m with the queen of rap.”

A clip of Trump on stage at the event with his arms wide open as Minaj runs up to embrace him plays in the middle of the funny skit.

The iconic Beez in the Trap instrumental – Minaj’s own song, which has become a social media hit – plays in the background.

Trump also invited his new best friend into the Oval Office for a tour of one of the most famous rooms in US history.

After the mum-of-one left the White House, she revealed an extra special gift Trump had given her.

The rap queen announced she had acquired President Trump’s immigration Gold Card.

The card is a way for non-US citizens to pay a steep price of around $1million for faster permission to live in the country legally.

The card itself is emblazoned with Trump’s portrait, his signature, an eagle, the Statue of Liberty and the US flag, as well as the presidential seal.

Minaj proudly shared an image of her holding the card alongside the caption: “Welp…

“Residency? Residency? The cope is coping.

“Finalising that citizenship paperwork as we speak as per MY wonderful, gracious, charming President.”

She added that the card was “free of charge”.

Who can get a Trump Gold Card?

ALMOST anyone who pays the hefty fee seems to be able to buy residency in the US through Trump’s new system.

Applicants have to pay an initial fee, then a “gift” of $1m (£750,000).

They will be vetted and given an “in-depth background check”, but this process will be sped up – the site says it should take just weeks.

The Trump Corporate Gold Card can be bought by US companies who want to bring workers into the US.

The employer version of the card is double the price, at $2m.

The Trump Gold Card site says the $2m “gift” is “evidence that the employee will substantially benefit the United States”.

Family members can also be added to a Gold Card application, for another $1m per person.
