An NHS doctor has been charged with multiple counts of inviting support for Hamas.
Dr Rahmeh Aladwan, 31, from Pilning, South Gloucestershire, was detained at home by the Metropolitan Police on Thursday for breaching bail after previous arrests.
She was taken to a central London police station where she was charged with four counts of inviting support for a proscribed organisation.
This related to comments or other material posted online.
She was also accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words to stir up racial hatred and publishing or distributing written material to do the same.
Aladwan was remanded in custody and will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
