Video shows the shocking moment a drunk holidaymaker lifted a Thai bar worker in the air and harassed another female staff member before he was knocked to the ground by a bouncer in an embarrassing brawl.
The foreign tourist featured in now viral footage which showed him squaring up to a bouncer outside the bar in Pattaya, Thailand, during Thai New Year’s celebrations.
The cocky man, who appeared to be speaking English, taunted staff members in the video and reportedly challenged the bouncer to a fight before being taken out with a single punch.
Now CCTV footage from before the brawl has been released, showing the moments that led up to the man being publicly humbled.
The shirtless man is seen lifting a female bar worker, named locally as May, who reportedly banged her head on an air con unit above.
The 33-year-old woman laughed at the encounter, but then ran to the bar, seemingly to avoid it happening again.
When a female manager stepped in to reprimand the man and separate him from the woman, he began leering at her, jokingly attempting to kiss and hug her as she pushed him back.
She tried to kick him out of the bar but he ran back to May, before being shouted at by the manager and sent out into the street.

There, he launched a humiliating attempt to take on the bar’s bouncers, swaggering and trying to gather a crowd to watch him fight them.
But one of the security guards decided to teach the man a lesson, smacking him to the floor before kicking him as several bar workers joined in with the beating.
The security guards, along with their female manager Phrae, 37, were summoned by police in the city after the footage went viral.
The guards, named locally as Non, 36, and Nik, 37, admitted to being in the clip and said they had reacted after escorting the drunk tourist out of the bar.
They said they had tried to calm the situation before one of them reacted, and reportedly expressed regret that they did not exercise restraint.
‘We initially tried to escort him out of the premises,’ one of the guards told Thai media.
‘The manager even attempted to calm him down, but he refused to listen and continued to provoke other tourists.’
They apologised for ‘giving in to their anger’ and for ‘damaging the reputation’ of the coastal town.
But they said the CCTV footage showed that the ‘heavily drunk’ tourist harassed one woman then turned his attention to a female manager, whom he tried to kiss and embrace.

When the bouncers intervened and dragged him away, they said, the tourist allegedly challenged them to a boxing fight.
The bouncer said: ‘He was ushered out of another establishment before entering my store around 10pm. My boss tried to chase him away but he assaulted a girl in the bar.’
The female manager added: ‘I told him to return to his hotel. I said he should stop because he was too drunk and return tomorrow.
‘I grabbed his hand and walked him out of my bar. He pushed me away and walked back inside.
‘There have been many instances of misbehaviour, and we had never assaulted a tourist before, but he just did not stop.’
