Bel UK collaborated with the beloved cheese brand to introduce Mini Babybel Protein.

They were launched at a time when 35 per cent of consumers were actively seeking to boost protein intake.

The Mini Babybel Protein packs 5.2 grams of natural protein per portion.

Marketing manager for snacks, spreads and Ireland at Bel UK Oliver Richmond said: “We’re seeing more consumers prioritising protein but they’re also looking for simplicity, real ingredients and great taste.”

The snack offers the creamy taste and nutritional benefits.

And it is made from 100 per cent real cheese.

Designed for on-the-go consumption, the playful snack also has no additives.

Cheese giant Babybel remains a key player on the snack market – racking up more than £104million in annual sales.

The brand already takes up a quarter of the UK’s cheese snack sector and is now looking to grow even further.

Its latest launch comes as sales are already surging – up 8.6 per cent in value and 5% in volume year-on-year.
